INTEGRITY GEL APPLICATION

NAILX – INM’S DRY NATURAL NAIL PREPARATION

1. Wash and sanitize both yours and your client’s hands.
2. With the INM’s Pro Cuti Pusher, gently push back the cuticle with the spoon side of the pusher. With the opposite side of the pusher, gently remove any excess non-living tissue.
3. With a 180 Solo file, gently remove any extra free edge.
4. With a 180 Solo file, gently remove the shine from the nail plate, beginning at the cuticle and moving forward towards the free edge.
5. Remove excess dust from the nail plate
6. Apply one coat of Prep Step and allow to dry completely
7. When applying a tip, wait to apply the primer until the tip application is complete.
8. When sculpting, apply two coats of ONL Primer to the nail plate and allow to dry completely.
• Helpful hints – When applying ONL Primer, be careful not to get primer on the cuticle. Before applying primer to the nail, wipe your brush on the sides (inside top) of your bottle, and dab lightly on a disposable towel. One brush load of primer is enough to treat all ten nails. Touch the brush to the centre of the nail plate and watch it spread towards the cuticle. Apply more only if necessary.
• If your client experiences a burning sensation due to overexposure to the primer, apply “Stop-It” for instant relief.

“INTEGRITY GEL” TWO-STEP TIP OVERLAY

1. Complete Natural Nail Preparation.
2. Choose either “Exact French” Tip Application or “Timeless” Tip Application.
3. With INM’s Pro Diamond Prepper Barrell or 150/150 Solo File, remove the shine from the surface of the tip. Be sure that you are thorough around the tip edges.

6. Start at the cuticle with a brush load of Integrity Clear Gel. Do not pat or apply pressure to the gel. With a gentle side-to-side motion (like frosting a cake), manipulate the gel on the nail. With your brush, drag them out to the free edge. “Freeze Cure” the gel for 5-10 seconds on each nail, while applying the gel to the alternate hands nail, curing for 2 minutes.
7. If there are any “low” spots on the nail, gently apply a bead of gel, drag the gel “string” across the area, and allow to self-level. If necessary repeat steps 6-9.
8. Wipe the nails with your Integrity Gel Cleanser and Lint Free Wipes.
9. With INM’s 150/150 Solo File, or medium grit sanding band, shape the nail. (see filing techniques).
10. Thoroughly dust the nails with a nylon brush or air can. REMEMBER – DUST IS THE ENEMY.
11. Apply a polish-like coat of Integrity Clear Gel, or Integrity Clear Glaze on the surface and edges of each nail. Cure for 2 minutes.

NOTE: Gel shrinks as it cures, so it is very important that you brush the gel around the edges of the nail before your final cure. If the final coat of gel is too thin, you will have sparse, uneven patches.
