EXACT FRENCH TIP APPLICATION
NAILX – INM’S DRY NATURAL NAIL PREPARATION
1. Wash and sanitize both yours and your client’s hands.
2. With the INM’s Pro Cuti Pusher, gently push back the cuticle with the spoon side of the pusher. With the opposite side of the pusher, gently remove any excess non-living tissue.
3. With a 180 Solo file, gently remove any extra free edge.
4. With a 180 Solo file, gently remove the shine from the nail plate, beginning at the cuticle and moving forward towards the free edge.
5. Remove excess dust from the nail plate
Exception: Apply a clear tip
1. Apply one coat of Prep Step.
2. Apply one coat of PH7 acid free primer.
3. Apply a medium dry ball of glitter acrylic onto the tip and cover the free edge, allowing it to self-level and brush back towards the centre of the nail.
4. Choose another colour glitter that you will fade, apply this using a small dry ball at the cuticle area and pull it forward towards the middle of the nail.
5. With this same colour, add another small dry ball on the middle of the nail and pull it over the first glitter colour, allowing the fade.
6. Apply a medium size dry ball of clear acrylic at the cuticle and guide it to the centre of the nail, slowing it to self-level.
7. Apply a medium dry ball of acrylic to the centre of the nail and pull it over the free edge.
8. If necessary, apply a small dry ball of clear acrylic to the centre of the nail to create and arch.
9. Apply one layer of N.O.P Sealant over the entire nail starting at the cuticle, brushing over the free edge.
10. Allow to dry.
11. File and buff.
12. Remove dust and apply two coats of Total Eclipse.

1. Find the tip that best fits the nail plate and meets each nail groove (sidewall).
2. Optional – if you would like to enhance the smile line, use your 180 Solo File and hold the file at a 45-degree angle and file straight forward on the well of the tip.
3. Apply INM’s Brush on Resin to the underside of the smile-line. Line the tip just below the free edge of the natural nail and place on the nail bed. With your INM Tongs, gently squeeze the tips of the corners.
4. After the Resin has dried, cut the tip to the desired length with a tip cutter.
5. With your 180 Solo File, blend the tip to the natural nail and file the top of the free edge to straighten the nail.
6. Remove excess dust and debris from the nail and tip with a nylon brush.

GETTING STARTED

6. Apply one coat of Prep Step and allow to dry completely.
7. When applying a tip, wait to apply the primer until the tip application is complete.
8. When sculpting, apply two coats of ONL Primer to the nail plate and allow to dry completely.
• Helpful hints – When applying ONL Primer, be careful not to get primer on the cuticle. Before applying primer to the nail, wipe your brush on the sides (inside top) of your bottle, and dab lightly on a disposable towel. One brush load of primer is enough to treat all ten nails. Touch the brush to the centre of the nail plate and watch it spread towards the cuticle. Apply more only if necessary.
• If your client experiences a burning sensation due to overexposure to the primer, apply “Stop-It” for instant relief.

NOTE: when sizing the tip, be sure to oversize the tip to allow for the placing of a c-curve
Creating Nail Tip With Extreme Curve
To create a tip with an extreme C-Curve, you will need the following:
1. A bowl or heater with very hot water.
2. A bowl of ice water.
3. INM C-Curve Tongs.
4. Tweezers.
1. Follow step 1 of Exact French Tip Application or Natural Nail Tip Application.
2. Holding the well end of the tip. With tweezers, immerse the tip in the hot water for 10-15 seconds.
3. Remove the tip from hot water, and with INM’s Tongs, pinch the C-Curve into the tip, and immerse the tip in cold water. Once the tip has cooled it will retain the shape.
4. Continue with the remaining steps of applying the tip to the natural nail.
